Access All Beckett Technical
The productions of Access All Beckett (aside from Molloy & The Beckett Trilogy) were conceived with the intention of using non-theatre settings and as a consequence they do not have generic lighting or stage plans. Our intention has been to seek out spaces which can be adapted to the performances and to which the performances can be adapted.
LIGHTING
In general we endeavour to make an advance visit to potential venues to see the possibilities. Our preference is to use the existing lighting possibilities but we have sometimes brought in a minimum amount of lighting to a space.
In the event of playing in a purpose built theatre venue we would work out a lighting design on site. In general we do not use lighting cues during the performances but only at top and tail and for a pre-state and post-state.
SOUND
Music is often played on CD in advance of a performance but we do not have any sound cues during performances.
PROPS, DECOR.
We do not use props or scenery for any of these shows.
