Conor trained at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris. His work with Gare St Lazare Players Ireland on Samuel Beckett has gained him a reputation as one of the foremost Beckett interpreters. In all he has performed 17 Beckett roles in 23 different Beckett productions internationally. He has appeared all over Ireland & the UK and in China, France, Germany, Holland, Israel, USA and Spain.
Conor has worked in devised theatre with The Clod Ensemble and Lee Andrea Companies in London, in improvised comedy with Dave Murray and Performance Art collaborations with Paul Craig in Dublin and he has given Masterclasses in solo performance in France, Germany and Ireland.
Theatre roles include Ferdinand in The Duchess of Malfi, Joey in The Homecoming, Army in Requiem for a Heavyweight, Les in Bouncers, The Torturer in The Possibilities, Gus in The Dumb Waiter, Orpheus in Orpheus, Nosey in The Three Legged Fool and The Old Man in his Coffin in The Bull.
He co-produced and starred in Shut Eye, a short film written and directed by Jon Tompkins. Other screen appearances include Father Ted (TV), Intermission, Moll Flanders, L'Entente Cordiale, The Kings of Cork City (Short), In Like Flynn and Fallout.
Conor has just recorded new versions of Beckett's Radio Plays with Gare St Lazare Players Ireland for broadcast on RTE Radio 1 in April 06.
